Our bungalows are architecturally designed to reflect traditional Maya style, built with hard woods and thatch roofs. Splashes of colorful tile and stucco are inspired by Mexican design. The bungalows are comfortably furnished and feature private porches with hammocks. | |
Activities
TULUM RUINS These ruins are located on a gorgeous bluff; it's a small site and it's very close. It's best to go early in the day to avoid the tour buses. Because they're so close and because the sight is so beautiful we definitely think it's worth the visit. The ruins are open from 8am-5:30pm and have free entry on Sundays. (10 minute drive from ZAMAS.)
COBA RUINS These ruins are newly discovered, not very commercial yet and are considered a very serious site. Only a small percentage has been rehabilitated and made available to the public. They still sit amongst the natural jungle setting and are, for this reason, more mysterious than many of the developed sites. Also, 15 minutes west of Coba is a spider monkey habitat where you can observe monkeys in their natural daily lives. (Approximately 45-60 minutes from ZAMAS)
