Activities
Scuba Diving - We have a fully equipped Scuba-Pro dive center right at Bananarama and are registered as a PADI International Dive Resort. We have an excellent divemaster and instructor for assisting with shore diving on our beautiful reef (a protected marine park) just steps away, or on our dive boat to many of the island's awesome dive sites, as well as certifying you for your open water through divemaster courses. We offer dolphin diving and diving with sharks as well.
Snorkeling - If you forget your gear, our dive center has plenty. Steps away, 50 yards off our beautiful beach is the island's protected reef marine reserve (called the Reserva Marina de la Bahia). It is common to see such sites as Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, large Parrot Fish, Jacks, beautiful coral formations, Sea Turtles and much more.
Gift Shop and Convenience Store - Our onsite gift shop has a selection of unique, high quality, shirts and hats that make excellent gifts for those back home. Also, we stock a wide variety of sunglasses, cameras, film, bug spray, snacks, beverages and more.
Mountain Biking - We offer mountain bikes to explore the back country roads, trails and beaches of Roatan.
Kayaking - Travel up and down West Bay Beach on our selection of single and double sea kayaks. We also offer combination sea kayak and dive trips. This fun combination is unique to Bananarama!
Rafts and Water Loungers - Use our 2 man vinyl rafts with oars or our loungers to float on the clear, calm water.
