Bahia Principe Tulum

Two of us just spent a week at this resort. Everything about the resort and the people was wonderful. Would love to return. We couldn't understand why some people thought the beach was not great. We thought the beach was wonderful and so easy to swim. No undertow and lots of sand and very safe. Property manicured, NO ANTS, loved seeing the iguanas that live on the property, resort architecture outstanding. Buffet was good with wonderful fruit (especially pineapple) and vegetables for salads if you didn't want heavy food. Yogurt fabulous! Only complaint was that the "specialty" restaurants are so so with the grill being a "NO NO". All the jewelry we saw was properly stamped and the tours are great. Can't wait to return. By the way, if you book in time to ask for your building make sure it is 12 and the 2nd or 3rd floor. It is the closest to the beach, by the pool, outdoor restaurant, towels, and bar!! In closing all our tour guides, bus drivers, etc. told us that this resort is the best on the whole Mayan Peninsula. Need I saw more.

Re: Bahia Principe Tulum - Sweets Posted on: 09-07-2004 2:22:04pm
Hi, My husband and I are booked at the Bahia Prinicpe Tulum for our Honeymoon - but I wanted to know whether anyone could tell me if it is better to stay on the Akumal side of the resort. I keep reading such mixed reviews and really want to make this vacation special. SO if anyone give me some suggestions about the resort, I would really apprciate it!
Thanks |
